Abstract
Nodular fasciitis is a self-limiting benign myofibroblastic proliferation, which typically presents as a rapidly growing mass clinically resembling an aggressive lesion. It can also historically mimic a sarcoma or other tumor lesion. We describe a case of a 25-year-old female who presented with a mass of cubital fossa that on imaging appeared to be a neurogenic tumor. After resection, the diagnosis of nodular fasciitis was rendered and therer was no evidence of recurrence at 6 months post-operation. Nodular fasciitis must thus be included in the differential diagnosis for any tumorous lesion of the cubital fossa.
